"Ran 1 mile everyday for two weeks, and this is what happened!!"

Why is Working Out Is Especially Essential In these Times Right Now? As we all know this coronavirus pandemic had brought all gyms to closure during the month of March to June. As you seen from under my Fitness Disciples tap, the gym brings life changing experiences from fundamental disciplinary habits to the community fellowship and empowerment. Even scripture reveals the power behind communities and optimistic vibes. "For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them." (Matthew 18:20) With that being said, as the gyms reopened it has given individuals and the entire world to come back together to develop and alleviate stress. Exercise has direct correlations and proved results to reduce stress. Exercise pumps up your endorphins and physical activity helps bump up the production of your brain's feel-good neurotransmitters, called endorphins. Rondeau, the CEO of planet fitness told “Sqwak Alley” (a program aired on CNBC) that fitness should be viewed as a sector of health care, given that exercising can help minimize or alleviate health conditions that have been linked to great health impacts when contracting the virus. He said he expects people to have a renewed interest in exercise after the pandemic, given its link to health. So with that being said as the gyms reopened I saw this opportunity for me to really exercise my mindset.


EFFECT: I decided to work on my endurance and conditioning my body. So, for the last two weeks I decided to run for at least a mile everyday. One of the first things I came to realize was that running within itself has everything to do with motivating the will and the soul. One of the other things I picked up on was my increased sense in not only motivation but in my aura. Your aura is known as your human energy field, that is believed to elevate your sense of well-being. Not to mention some of the immediate benefits of running is sweating which boosts your Immunity. Research published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences found that peptides produced by sweat glands acted as antibiotics to fight off infection. Other benefits include, clears your skin, body detox and releasing feel good hormones. The last key benefit that I will highlight from running on very frequent basis is flow state. Flow state is known as the mental state in which a person performing an activity is fully immersed in a feeling of energized focus, full involvement, and enjoyment in the process of the activity.
